Frequently asked questions
The short version of everything — billing, watermark, teams, channels, privacy.
▸What is OnePress?
OnePress is a persistent AI work partner for founders, one-person companies, and lean teams. One agent with long-term memory and a workspace handles decks, documents, podcasts, narrated slide videos, research, images, and more — each output is a task result, not a separate product.
▸Is there a free tier?
Yes. You can sign up, create groups, invite teammates, and run tasks on free credits. Paid options add more credits and remove the deck watermark (see Pricing).
▸How do credits and billing work?
Every agent run consumes credits from your account — the same model whether the task comes from chat, email, Telegram, an automation, or the API. In group workspaces, the member who asked pays for that message; there is no team wallet. Top up in Settings → Billing.
▸What is the Deck Pass / watermark?
Decks built on the free tier carry a small "Made with OnePress" badge in preview and export. A $2.99 Deck Pass removes it permanently for that deck (including later edits); a Pro subscription removes it across your space. Files you uploaded yourself are never watermarked.
▸Can I work with a team?
Yes — create a group, invite members by email, and everyone shares a group workspace and group conversations with the agent. Personal and group spaces are physically separated; moving files between them is always an explicit copy. Creating, inviting, and joining are all free. See the Teams guide.
▸Can I talk to the agent outside the web app?
Yes — three more doors: (1) Email — every account has a personal task-…@getonepress.com address; send or forward mail and get a Re: reply, attachments both ways. (2) Telegram & Discord — link in Settings → Notifications, then message the bot tasks, photos, and documents. (3) API & MCP — create an opk_ key in Settings → Account and submit tasks over REST or MCP.
▸What are automations?
A prompt plus a schedule — daily briefs, weekly reports, hourly monitors, one-time reminders. Each run is saved as a normal conversation, and results can be pushed to Telegram/Discord or emailed to you. See the Automations guide.
▸What can the agent produce?
Slide decks (live HTML link, PDF export, editable PPTX), long-form documents, podcasts (script + voiced MP3), narrated slide videos (MP4), research briefs with cited sources, generated images, and general workspace files (code, data, archives).
▸Is my data private?
Personal conversations, files, and memory are yours alone. In groups, the agent only uses that group's conversations and files — it never reads your private chats to answer a teammate. Leaving a group revokes your access to it; your personal space was never shared.
▸Who owns the output?
You do. Everything the agent writes lands in your workspace as normal files — export, download, share as a link, or send by email. Deck Pass removes the watermark; it doesn't change ownership.
▸My task email address leaked — what now?
Settings → Notifications → Task email → Rotate. You get a fresh address instantly and the old one stops accepting mail. Inbound is rate-limited either way, so spam can't burn your credits.
▸Is there an API for developers?
Yes — a deliberately narrow REST API (create task, poll status, continue conversation) plus an MCP server with three tools. Keys are created in Settings → Account, rate-limited per key, and billed to your credits. See the API guide.
